VAR error judges were not chosen for the weekend Premier League games between Liverpool and Spurs

The video assistant referees who made a mistake by not letting Liverpool score at Tottenham have not been chosen to work this weekend's Premier League games.

On Saturday, when Luis Diaz was wrongly called offside, Darren England and his deputy, Dan Cook, did not overturn the call.

Simon Hooper, who was the judge for that game, will be in charge of VAR when Bournemouth plays at Everton.

The fourth judge, Michael Oliver, will take part in two games.

Oliver will be the VAR judge for Luton's game against Tottenham on Saturday. On Sunday, he will be in charge of the game between Arsenal and Manchester City.

Referees' governing body, PGMOL, called the mistake at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium a "significant human error" and took England and Cook off the field for the rest of the weekend.

Liverpool, who lost 2-1, said that PGMOL's explanation for the controversial event was "unacceptable" and that "sporting integrity has been undermined"

On Monday, the club put in a formal request for the audio records of the officials talking to each other during the game. They want to find out why communication broke down.
